Matchday 31

Inter Milan vs AS Roma

San Siro

Milan, Italy

Sunday, 5 April 2026

Kick-off is at 20:45

With Inter Milan enduring a sticky spell of results in Serie A lately, the table toppers will hope to get back to winning ways when they take on AS Roma at the San Siro on Sunday.

After back-to-back draws in their last two league outings, Inter’s lead at the top are beginning to diminish. As it stands, Inter registered 69 points from 30 matches and are now six points ahead of second-placed AC Milan.

Their 1-1 draw with Fiorentina before the international break came on the back of a 1-1 stalemate with Atalanta while they recorded two draws and one loss in their previous five.

While Inter lose grip in first position, Roma remain on the charge for European qualification next season.

The Rome-based side are currently sixth on the table with 54 points from 30 matches played. Gian Piero Gasperini’s men saw out a 1-0 victory against Lecce last time out and remained three points adrift of fourth.

As far as their form are concerned, Roma recorded two wins, two losses and one draw in their last handful of Serie A fixtures.

With Cristian Chivu suspended, Inter second in command Aleksandar Kolarov gave his assessment of the club’s recent draw with Fiorentina by saying that the Italian giants now find themselves in a bad run of form.

“We’ll try to improve the things we didn’t do well,” the ex-Manchester City star said.

“You – and we – are used to seeing Inter win while playing well, but we’re not going through our best moment. For you, everything seems expected.

“A dip in form can happen; others have had it too. We’re optimistic, we know where we need to improve, and we’ll keep going on our path”.
