Houston, Texas
26-29 March 2026
World No. 31 Min Woo Lee returns for the Houston Open to defend his title and is one of four former champions in the field.
The Australian claimed his maiden PGA Tour win in 2025 when he carded a 20-under 260 to beat Scottie Scheffler and Gary Woodland by one stroke.
Lee has achieved a couple of top-10 finishes this year and narrowly missed out on his second victory on the Tour after losing to Collin Morikawa by one stroke at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
His T2 at Pebble Beach was followed by a T12 at the Genesis Invitational before the 27-year-old finished five shots off the pace in T6 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Lee admits to being fond of his 60-degree wedge, and one of his nicknames is 'Dr. Chipinski' for his ability to hole a lot of chips.
"I call the Doctor when I chip in," he said. "I chip in a lot, but not recently. My iron play hasn't always been that good, so I miss a lot of greens and have a lot of chances of chipping in."
Last five Houston Open winners:
2025 - Min Woo Lee (AUS)
2024 - Stephan Jaeger (GER)
2022 - Tony Finau (USA)
2021 - Jason Kokrak (USA)
2020 - Carlos Ortiz (MEX)
