Julian Williams will defend his WBA (Super), IBF, and IBO light middleweight world titles for the first time on Saturday.
The American boxer won the titles on the 11th of May 2019 after defeating his compatriot Jarred Hurd in an entertaining fight.
Williams, 29, has made it known that he is looking to defeat Jeison Rosario and go on to become pound-for-pound best boxer in the world.
"The task at hand is being pound-for-pound best in the world. I’m not satisfied with just being the best super welterweight in the world," Williams said.

"I’m just not satisfied with being unified champion of the world. Why sell myself short when I have the drive and the ability to be the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world?
"I’d be selling myself short. I’d be leaving millions of dollars on the table."
Meanwhile, Rosario is looking to make his mark by claiming world titles for the first time in his young career.
The Dominican Republic boxer made his professional debut as an 18-year-old on the 18th of May 2013 and this is his maiden title fight.
Rosario, now 24, feels that the time for him to become a world champion has arrived as he looks to shock Williams.
“I have been working for years towards this fight. All the work I’ve done since I turned pro was a step towards realizing my dreams,” Rosario said.
“I train hard, I make sacrifices for this family all of this fight.
“God’s timing is perfect, it’s the right time for this fight. I’m going for what’s mine. Jeison ‘Banana’—the new champion of the world.”
