The Aviation Club Tennis Centre will host this year's
Dubai Tennis Championship men's tournament between 24 and 29 February.
The tournament takes place under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The courts usually have a medium-fast speed considered to be similar in speed to the Shanghai and Swiss Indoor (Basel) courts.
Novak Djovokoc, who is ranked number one in the world, is targeting his fifth Dubai title having won the competition in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013.
Djokovic has discussed his rivalry with the defending champion Roger Federer ahead of this year's tournament.
“We mostly avoid each other,” Djokovic said on Sports Yahoo.

“Locker rooms aren’t that big everywhere, so we sometimes hide behind our lockers or something like that.
"Sometimes we take shower cabins next to each other, but we don’t look," Djovokoc, who shares with Federer the record for most consecutive Dubai titles (three), added.
“It’s a bit uncomfortable, we are in awkward situations there with our team, huge emotions are on the line.”
