Russell Henley will be looking to build on a strong showing at the Tour Championship when he tees off at the
Procore Championship on Thursday, September 11.
The field for the first event of the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup Fall includes seven of the top-10 players in the OGWR and 10 of the 12 United States Ryder Cup team.
Henley matched the course record of 61 in the opening round at East Lake and went on to card a 15-under 265 to finish three strokes behind Tour Championship winner Tommy Fleetwood in T2 with Patrick Cantlay.
The world No. 4 has one victory to his name this year - the Arnold Palmer Invitational - and claimed another eight top-10 finishes, including T2 at the Travelers Championship.
Only Scottie Scheffler has more top-10 finishes than Henley on the PGA Tour this year and the 36-year-old admits he is trying to be as consistent as possible.
"Yeah, I mean that's kind of always been my goal is to see if I can get consistent, we play a lot of tournaments and I want to play well in all of them," Henley said.
"So, the last two weeks were really great for me, I felt a little bit off and still finished 17th (at the FedEx St Jude Championship) and 15th (at the BMW Championship).
"I'm just trying to get up the top of the leaderboard as much as possible but on my bad weeks just hope for decent tournaments too."
