Shane Lowry will be looking to win the
Amgen Irish Open for the second time in his career and register his first win of the current season.
What to know about Lowry
Irish star competes on both the PGA Tour and European Tour, having turned professional in 2009, after achieving a career high of sixth in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.
Lowry has won seven tournaments as a professional to date, including six European Tour events and he boasts one golf major title, having won the 2019 Open Championship.

The 38-year-old has been inactive since he competed in the PGA Tour's Tour Championship in Georgia, USA, where he secured a top 15 finish, finishing 13th.
Lowry is placed 23rd in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best overall ranking is 10th place.
Why is Lowry one of the favourites
Lowry, who is Irish, became only the third amateur to win a European Tour event when he took the Amgen Irish Open in 2009, as he secured a six-shot victory.
The current season has seen the Clara, County-born golfer finish second at both the Truist Championship and AT&T Pebble Beach, and he will now be targeting his first win of the year at the K Club.
