2025/26 Premier League
Matchday 16
Nottingham Forest v Tottenham Hotspur
City Ground
Nottingham, England
Sunday, 14 December 2025
Kick-off is at 16h00
Nottingham Forest will face off with an improving Tottenham Hotspur side in the
Premier League at City Ground on 14 December.
Current Form
The Tricky Trees have now lost two of their last three matches in the English top-flight after losing 3-0 to Everton FC away on 6 December.
Forest saw their two-match unbeaten run at home in the league come to an end when they lost to Brighton and Hove Albion in their last game at the City Ground.
Meanwhile, Tottenham claimed a 2-0 victory over Brentford FC at home on 6 December and they are undefeated in their last two games in the Premier League.
However, Spurs are winless run in their last two matches on the road in the league, having recorded one draw and one defeat as the away side.
Team News
Forest have no suspension concerns coming into this match, but Angus Gunn, Douglas Luiz, Murillo, Ryan Yates, Taiwo Awoniyi, Chris Wood, Ola Aina and Oleksandr Zinchenko are all on the club's injury list.
Tottenham, on the other hand, have Kota Takai, Radu Drăgușin, James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Yves Bissouma, Dominic Solanke and Destiny Udogie on their injury list, but they don't have suspension worries.
Quotes
“We’re trying to get the mentality in the players that everything they and the club wanted is there in front of them," Forest manager Sean Dyche said after his side's defeat to Everton.
“It’s not going to go away so they have to be ready all the time, every day in training and every matchday. Then when you come to places like this, you’re ready to go and impact the game.
"I didn’t think we had a feel of that today right from the off. We did the ugly things well against Wolves, but they weren’t there today and that’s the fabric that holds the performance together.”
Head-to-Head
Forest secured a 2-1 win over Tottenham in their last meeting in the league, which was in April 2025 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Therefore, the Tricky Trees are undefeated in their last two Premier League matches against Spurs, having registered two back-to-back wins.
