Following a sticky spell earlier this season, Napoli could record three wins on the spin in
Serie A when they take on Juventus in Naples on Sunday night.
Napoli are currently in second place on the table, level on points (28) with log leaders AC Milan after 13 matches played. The reigning SerieA champions bagged maximum points against Atalanta and AS Roma in their last two games, results that came off a frustrating 2-0 defeat against Bologna on 9 November.
Juventus will go into their next game following a 2-1 win over Cagliari this past Saturday and put an end to their two-match stalemate streak against Torino and Fiorentina respectively.
Overall, Juventus have noted three wins and two draws in their last five league assignments and sit in seventh position on 23 points.
With Napoli collecting maximum points last time out, coach Antonio Conte touched on his side’s injury woes after Scott McTominay was asked to play a different role this past weekend.
"We had to change the tactical system and return to the shape we used at the start of my time here,” Conte said.
That decision is dictated purely by the numbers. We have Lobotka and McTominay fit â- nobody else.
“Some have said he is being sacrificed, but that is not true. He is a box-to-box midfielder and this is also his role."
