Charles Leclerc will be determined to keep his ambitions of clinching the 2022 Formula One world title alive by winning the
Singapore Grand Prix.
The Ferrari driver came very close to winning the Singapore Grand Prix in 2019 as he finished second having started at position one on the grid.
Leclerc was unlucky not to win the most recent race in the current campaign which was the Italian Grand Prix on September 11 as he finished second.

When the Safety Car came out in the closing stages in Italy, it seemed that Leclerc might have a chance over a few laps to attack Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing-RBPT.
However, that scenario vanished when the race ended behind the Safety Car thus freezing the order with Verstappen winning the race, while George Russell of Mercedes finished third.
Verstappen remains at the top of the 2022 Drivers' Championship standings with his Red Bull Racing teammate Sergio 'Checo' Perez placed third on the table.
Second-placed Leclerc will reduce Verstappen's lead if he wins the Singapore Grand Prix and also boost his ambitions of winning the Formula One world title for the first time.

"Monza is always incredible. Starting from pole, I did want to take the win. However, that’s not how it went today. Seeing our Tifosi under the podium made it a lot better," Leclerc said.
"Our pace was good and we have to keep in mind that our expectations for this track were not very high. We worked a lot throughout the practice sessions to secure pole, which was a nice surprise.
"We have made some positive progress and were more competitive this weekend, so I am looking forward to being back racing in Singapore."
Red Bull Racing-RBPT are placed at the top of the Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Ferrari and Mercedes respectively.
