Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Brad Binder will be looking to build on his fourth podium of the season when he competes at the
Malaysian Grand Prix on Sunday, November 12.
The South African was involved in an epic battle with Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin in Buriram as the lead was exchanged several times in the closing laps before Prima Pramac Racing rider won the Thailand Grand Prix by the narrowest of margins.
Binder took P2 but was subsequently penalised by one place for exceeding track limits. However, he became South Africa's podium leader in the premier class with nine, surpassing the eight set by Paddy Driver between 1958 and 1965.

The 28-year-old has been knocking on the door numerous times this season in his quest for a career third MotoGP win following his P2s in the Spanish Grand Prix and the Austrian Prix and P3 in the British Grand Prix.
Binder is out of the title race as he trails Mooney VR46 Racing Team's Marco Bezzecchi (3rd) by 61 points with three races to go, but he's set to finish a career-best fourth.
The 2016 Moto3 champion is confident of finishing ahead of the pack before the end of the campaign and praised his team for putting him in a position to challenge the likes of Bagnaia and Martin.

"I tried my best today, I left nothing on the table," he said. "Behind Jorge, I tried my absolute best to keep as much rubber for the end as I could and when I saw my opportunity, I tried to go.
"But one lap after that the base rubber hit and that was it for my rear tyre. I'm really happy with the way we rode today; my team did a terrific job and I'm sure the win is coming."
