Netherlands will go head to head with Norway in the
2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifier - Group G match on November 16.
This will be the 11th match between the Netherlands and Norway since their maiden meeting in 1972.
The Netherlands have the upper hand having registered six wins compared to Norway's one victory, while three games ended in a draw.

Nicknamed the Flying Dutchmen, Netherlands hammered Gilbratar 6-0 in their last home game in the World Cup qualifiers which was played on October 11.
The win extended the Flying Dutchmen's unbeaten run to seven matches at home in the World Cup qualifiers having recorded seven successive wins as the hosts.
“Of course, only qualification counts and that was the goal when I was appointed," Netherlands coach Louis Van Gaal said ahead of their clash with Norway.
"It doesn’t just happen like that but in principle, I assume that we will qualify. We played a very attacking brand in all those matches, although that is possible against those kind of opponents.
“But we were also the attacking side against Norway, just look at the statistics.”

While Norway managed to frustrate Turkey in their last away game in the World Cup qualifiers as they drew 1-1 in a match that was played on October 8.
Therefore, the Lions are undefeated in their last five matches on the road having recorded four consecutive wins and one draw.
The last meeting between Netherlands and Norway was on 1 September 2021.
The two teams drew 1-1 in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier which was played at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo.
