Parma will face off with Fiorentina in an Italian Serie A match at the Stadio Ennio Tardini on November 7.
The Crusaders were held to a 2-2 draw by Inter Milan at home in their previous league game which was played on October 31.
The draw extended Parma winless run to three matches in the competition having recorded two successive draws and one defeat.
However, they are undefeated in their last two home matches in the league and registered one win and one draw.
Fabio Liverani, the Parma manager, was pleased with his charges' performance in their draw with Inter.
“The lads are doing something exceptional and they’re giving their all. They always give everything, even in difficult moments. I don’t ask them to keep possession throughout," Liverani said.
"But I ask them to manage certain spells of the game. One of the biggest challenges for any team is playing against two central defenders.
"It’s only normal that when you strengthen centrally, you risk a bit more from crosses. We defended in the right manner.”
Meanwhile, Fiorentina succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to AS Roma away in their previous league game which was played on November 1.
The defeat ended the Violets' two-match unbeaten run in the league having recorded one draw and one victory.
They are winless in their last three away matches in the competition having registered two defeats and one draw.
The last meeting between Parma and Fiorentina in the league was on 5 July 2020.
The Violets secured a 2-1 win over the Crusaders in a match which was played at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.
