Final
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) vs Inter Milan

Munich, Germany
Saturday, 31 May 2025
Kick-off: 21h00

Inter Milan will be keen to win the UEFA Champions League title for the fourth time when they square off with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) at the Allianz Arena on May 31.

Build-up to the final

The Italian giants are coming into this game undefeated in their last six matches, including a three-match winning streak, which was ended by a draw.

Following a 4-4 draw with FC Barcelona in the Champions League on April 30, a three-match winning run followed for I Nerazzurri (The Black and Blues).

I Nerazzurri ended their domestic campaign with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Como 1907 in the Serie A clash on May 23.

Latest news

Inter are likely to be without the services of three players when they take on PSG due to their respective injuries.

Valentín Carboni (Cruciate ligament tear), Benjamin Pavard (Muscle) and Piotr Zieliński (Ankle problems) are currently on I Nerazzurri's injury list.

Why Inter could win the Champions League

Inter manager Simone Inzaghi will be determined to make amends after he guided I Nerazzurri to the final during the 2022/23 season, where they were defeated by Manchester City.

While Marko Arnautovic was part of the Inter team that won the 2009/10 Champions League title and his experience could be key to the current side's win over PSG.

Quotes

“On a sporting level, I’d say the Champions League. Particularly after we lost in the final already," Barella said when asked about his biggest dream at Inter by DAZN.

“That’s the dream for me. After we already got that far.. A lot of the players have changed. But the focus has remained the same as ever. It shouldn’t distract us from the league. Which is still very important for us.

"There are a lot of teams who have won the league, the domestic cup, and the Champions League. We have every chance of winning it. And we’ll try for it. I’d like to be remembered for having done something for this club.”
