Hideki Matsuyama will be determined to make history by becoming the first Asian golfer to win the
Charles Schwab Challenge.

The Japanese superstar turned professional in 2013, having reached number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking in August 2012.
Matsuyama has 20 worldwide wins, an Olympic bronze medal, ten career top-10 finishes in major championships, and six Presidents Cup appearances.

The 33-year-old was in action at the recent PGA Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, where he missed the cut.
Matsuyama is currently placed seventh on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), and his best overall ranking is second place.
