The
2024 French MotoGP is scheduled to be held in a city in northwestern France on the Sarthe River, Le Mans on 12 May.
What to know about the French MotoGP
This race has been part of the MotoGP calendar since 1951 and the race has been held at Le Mans on the Bugatti Circuit since 2000.
The circuit is named after automobile designer Ettore Bugatti and the French MotoGP is due to take place at the Bugatti Circuit until at least 2026.

The Spanish MotoGP which was the fourth round of the 2024 MotoGP World Championship calendar took place on 28 April.
The race was won by Francesco Bagnaia followed by his Ducati teammates Marc Marquez and Marco Bezzecchi who finished second and third respectively.
Standings
Jorge Martin is still placed at the top of the 2024 MotoGP riders' standings followed by Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini respectively.
Looking at the constructors' standings, Ducati, who won the 2023 title, are sitting at the top - followed by KTM and Aprilia respectively.
Favourites
Martin will be the favourite to win the French MotoGP, but he will face stiff competition from Bagnaia and Bastianini.
Reigning French MotoGP champion Bezzecchi and three-time race winner Marc Marquez will also compete at the Bugatti Circuit.

“I was missing this feeling since a bit of time, so I am very happy to be here [on the podium]," Bezzecchi said after finishing third at the 2024 Spanish MotoGP.
"It was a wonderful weekend, to be honest. “I didn't expect [it], but I was very motivated when I started from home because last year here I was struggling,
"So I was motivated for this. “But also because I was improving step by step. So I wanted to make a good one and fortunately, I did it.”
