La Spezia, Italy
Friday, 10 March 2023
Kick-off is at 21h45

Spezia Calcio will square off with Inter Milan in an Italian Serie A match at the Stadio Alberto Picco on March 10.

Current Form

The Little Eagles were held to a 0-0 draw by Hellas Verona on March 5 as they extended their winless run to seven matches in the league.

Spezia are also winless in their last nine matches at home having recorded five draws and four defeats at the Stadio Alberto Picco.

While Inter secured a 2-0 win over US Lecce at home on March 12 as they returned to winning ways in Serie A.

The Big Grass Snake are winless in their last two matches on the road having recorded one draw and one defeat as the visitors.

What Is At Stake

Spezia are looking to avoid relegation from the Italian top-flight as they are placed 17th on the league standings - three points above the relegation zone.

The Little Eagles will move further away from the bottom three spots if they defeat Inter who will not be pushovers.

Inter are placed second on the league standings and a win over Spezia would boost the Big Grass Snake's hopes of winning the league title.

Team News

The Spezia trio of Jeroen Zoet, Joao Moutinho, Emil, Holm and Simone Bastoni are out injured, while Arkadiusz Reca and Federico Marchetti are suspended.

On the other hand, Inter players Dalbert, Federico Dimarco, Joaquin Correa and Milan Skriniar are currently injured, but Simone Inzaghi's side has no suspension concerns.

Key Players

The Little Eagles will look to Mbala N'Zola who is the club's top scorer in Serie A this term with 11 goals and the Angolan forward will be keen to add to his tally against Inter.

While Inter's Serie A top scorer this term, Lautaro Martinez netted his 14th goal of the season against Lecce and the Argentine star will be confident of scoring against Spezia.
