Quotes

“I created a bit of that mess in the first half by changing the team and, more than anything, by changing the players behind our striker," Roma manager Daniele De Rossi said after his side's win over Frosinone.

"Up until today, we’d done well with a mezzala, and a ball-playing trequartista behind the striker. Today I played [Sardar] Azmoun, who is more of an attacking player. I think this is something that can work – having two bigger guys up top – but we’ve got to try it out. I only had a day to do it and I got it wrong. But it’s a learning curve.

“I really liked the second half, but we’ve got to look at what went well and what didn’t go so well. The second half is what I like about this team, and I think we could replicate that for the whole 90 minutes in every game, especially against teams like Frosinone, who aren’t on the same level as us.”

Head-to-Head

Roma and Torino played to a 1-1 draw in their last meeting in Serie A which was on 24 September 2023 at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

The Wolves are unbeaten in their last five matches league matches against the Maroons having registered three wins and two draws.
