MTN Zambia Super League. This ascent came as Zesco United settled for a 1-1 draw against Konkala Blades. With this outcome, Zesco now trails the league leaders by just a single point.
Week twenty-one witnessed a series of shocking outcomes, with prominent teams suffering significant defeats, and Zesco United dropping crucial points that cost them their top spot on the table.
Heading into Week Twenty, ZESCO United held the top position with thirty-nine points, while Arrows trailed closely behind with thirty-eight points. However, following their recent triumph, Arrows have secured the top spot, relegating Zesco to the second position.
One of the most surprising results of the weekend occurred when Mufulira Wanderers stunned Zanaco with an impressive 5-0 victory at Shinde Stadium in Mufulira. Maite took an early lead in the 2nd minute, and by the 30th minute of the first half, the scoreline was already 3-0. By halftime, Mufulira Wanderers had extended their lead to 4-0, and they sealed the victory with a fifth goal shortly into the second half.

On Sunday, the defending champions, Power Dynamos, traveled to Independence Stadium in Choma, where they secured a resounding 4-0 victory against Green Eagles. Austin Muwowo's brace contributed significantly to Power's triumph, elevating them to thirty-six points and maintaining their third-place position on the table.
