The Big Grass Snake edged out US Cremonese 2-1 away in their previous league match which was played on January 28.

The defeat to Empoli ended the Big Grass Snake's five-match unbeaten run at home in Serie A having registered five consecutive wins as the hosts.

"I congratulated the team because they produced an excellent performance and approached it in the best possible way," Inter manager Simone Inzaghi said after their win over Cremonese.

"Then, Cremonese scored a screamer, something which could have resulted in a few problems for us after coming into the game on the back of a defeat to Empoli. However, the team remained focused.

"We were up against a side that had got the better of Napoli and came away with a good point in Bologna, and I'm happy with the character we displayed. Our approach was good, and then we stayed concentrated."
