Yet to win a tournament this year, South Africa’s Wandre Snyman will hope to keep up with the pace at the top of the Betway Big Easy Tour table when he takes to the Soweto Country Club this week.
Snyman remains a top challenger this year, heading into the Betway Big Easy Tour 7 sitting in second position on the log overall with 597.29 points after participating in nine tournaments.
At the Betway Blu Label Unlimited Invitational 3 in July, Snyman could only manage a 15th place finish, accumulating R2767 in prize money the Ruimsig Country Club in Johannesburg.
Two of Snyman’s best showings this year came at the Betway Big Easy Tour 2 and 5, where he finished as a runner-up in both tournaments.
The 24-year-old also had top 10 finishes at the Big Easy Tour 1, 4 and 6, with his best during this period being at the Big Easy Tour 4 as he placed T4 at the Glenvista Country Club in June.
With a total of R73 372 in career prize money, Snyman boasts an impressive 212 Eagles and 175 Birdies as he maintains his position among the top golfing prospects in South Africa.
