Arsenal will lock horns with Valencia in the UEFA Europa League semi-final first-leg clash at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday, May 2.

The Gunners reached the semi-finals after thrashing Italian side Napoli 3-0 on aggregate in a quarter-final tie.  

The English giants are undefeated in their last three Europa League matches having recorded three successive wins.

They are also undefeated in their last nine home games in the competition having registered two draws and seven victories.

Meanwhile, Valencia secured their place in the semi-finals after thumping their Spanish rivals Villarreal 5-1 on aggregate in a quarter-final tie.

The Bats are undefeated in their last seven matches in the Europea League having registered six wins and one draw.

They are also unbeaten in their last three away games in the competition having recorded two wins and one draw.

The last time Arsenal hosted Valencia in a competitive match was on the 10th of December 2002.

The two teams played to a 0-0 draw in the UEFA Champions League match.
