Action hots up in Super Rugby

The 2020 Super Rugby action will continue this weekend with Highlanders taking on Sharks on February 7. 
 
The match is scheduled to be played at the Forsyth Bart Stadium. Kick-off is at 08h05.
 
New Zealand side Highlanders will be playing their first match in this year's tournament as they were inactive last weekend.
 
South African outfit Sharks registered their maiden win in this year's Super Rugby when they defeated their local rivals Bulls 23-15 at home on January 31.
 
Sean Everitt, the Sharks coach, feels that minor concerns can be ironed out and that given time, the team will grow and grow.
 
“We want to be patient, we want to hold on to the ball," Everitt said.
 
"But that’s really difficult in the heat and humidity and at times we did take the wrong option which put us under pressure, but composure will come with time."

Australian side Waratahs will host New Zealand outfit Blues at the McDonald Jones Stadium on Saturday, February 8. Kick-off is at 10h15.
 
Waratahs recorded their first defeat in this year's Super Rugby when they lost 43-25 to New Zealand giants Crusaders away on February 1.

Blues registered their first defeat in the competition when they lost 37-29 to fellow New Zealand side Chiefs at home on January 25.

Argentine side Jaguares will take on New Zealand outfit Hurricanes at the Estadio Jose Amalfitani on Saturday, February 8. Kick-off is at 23h40.
 
Jaguares registered their maiden win in this season's Super Rugby when they defeated Lions 38-0 at home on February 2.
 
Hurricanes tasted their first defeat in this year's competition when they lost 27-0 to South African Side Stormers away on February 1.
