Serie A assignments, an in-form AC Milan will now take on Fiorentina during matchday seven at the San Siro on Sunday.
Sitting just two points from the top in third position, Massimiliano Allegri has brought a new feel of energy to Milan this season.
On the back of consecutive wins against Lecce, Bologna, Udinese and Napoli, Milan last recorded a 0-0 draw with Juventus before heading into the International break.
While Milan enjoy a positive spell, Fiorentina are yet to taste victory in the league this season. As it stands, Fiorentina are in 17
th place and recorded three losses and three draws in their first six Serie A matches ahead of Sunday’s tie.
Given Milan’s recent run of results, Massimiliano Allegri was named as the Philadelphia Coach of The Month for September as Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo reserved special praises for the popular mentor.
