New York Knicks coach Mike Brown recently expressed that his side oversaw a collective effort en-route to claiming a 2-0 series lead over the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA finals.
With Game three on the horizon, the New York Knicks recorded a narrow 105-104 win over the San Antonio Spurs at the Frost Bank Center on Saturday.
While the likes of Victor Wembanyama and De’Aaron Fox piled on the pressure during the first two quarters, the Knicks eventually kicked into gear late on as Karl Anthony Towns posted 21 points for his side. In addition to Towns’ contribution, Knicks talisman Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges scored 20 points each.

According to Brown, the Knicks edged their opponents at the end of the match because his players stuck together in heated moments.
“They made a run, we made a run, there was a lot of back and forth throughout the course of the game,” Brown said.
“They made their run towards the end; we could have folded a few times but our guys kept fighting. The one thing I told them that, you work on connectivity throughout the year for moments like these.
“No matter what run they went on, no matter what time of the game, our guys just kept uplifting one another.”
