Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing team owner Wayne Taylor is hoping to put their 2025 showing behind them as they named an unchanged driver line up for the upcoming 24h Le Mans race.
Taylor, a veteran South African racing figure, is looking to the 2026 Le Mans with much optimism after recording a DNF last year from their Cadillac LMC55R 5.5 L V8 engine.
While they suffered electrical and engine issues last year, Taylor once again extended the wheel to Filipe Albuquerque, Jordan Taylor and Ricky Taylor in their second-attempt in this year’s edition of the race.

Reflecting on their chances this time around, Taylor spoke positively of the help his team received from the sister Cadillac factory operations.
“When we went last year, it was really at the last minute,” Taylor said.
“I was thinking, ‘We have to do this for Cadillac and more importantly, we need to do it because we have to have a chance to try and win at some point.’
“We had Action and JOTA working with us, which was a big help. We ran OK. We had an electrical problem that took us out.
“However this year, they gave us a lot of notice. We really built the car for Le Mans, unlike last year, we just took one of the cars.
“We built a Le Mans car over a period of quite a long time. We managed to get all the spares that we need this time, gearboxes, engines.
“But the biggest breakthrough is the collaboration with JOTA.
