After suffering defeat against the Sacramento Kings earlier this month, the New York Knicks will hope to get one over their Western Conference opponents at Madison Square Gardens this week.
The Kings and Knicks last met on 15 January, where the former recorded a 112-101 win over the Knicks at the Golden 1 Center. The Sacramento side were led by DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine, who scored 27 and 25 points respectively.
As it stands, the Kings are 14th in the Western Conference and lost each of their last five games, with the most recent being a 139-116 result against the Detroit Pistons.
The Knicks on the other hand, will go into their next fixture on the back of a 112-109 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in a game that took place at the Wells Fargo Center on 24 January.
Sitting in fourth place on the Eastern Conference log, the Knicks are on a two-match winning streak, a run of results that followed losses against the Kings, Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns and the Dallas Mavericks.

Reflecting on the Knicks’ season so far, forward Josh Hart believes that gaining momentum on the log will include getting the upper hand in the finer details.
"When you're a team that's struggling to put together wins, you got to do the little things," Hart said.
"You've got to have good attention to detail, good focus, good energy and you've got to get all those 50-50 balls."
