2026 Zurich Classic of New Orleans
PGA Tour
TPC Louisiana
Avondale, Louisiana
23-26 April 2026
Former Zurich Classic of New Orleans champion Shane Lowry has found himself a new partner for this year's only team event on the PGA Tour from 23-26 April.
The Irishman teamed up with Rory McIlroy in 2024 and again in 2025, beating Chad Ramey and Martin Trainer in a playoff on their debut together before finishing T12 last year.
However, back-to-back Masters winner McIlroy decided to pass up on the tournament this time around and Brooks Koepka has filled his spot.
Lowry has yet to add to his third career PGA Tour victory at TPC Louisiana two years ago, but he came close last month after finishing two strokes behind winner Nicolas Echavarria at the Cognizant Classic in T2.
It was the world No. 35's second top 10 in 2026 after he achieved T8 at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, while he managed T30 at the Masters, the first major of the season.
Koepka has returned to the PGA Tour after three and a half years with LIV Golf. The American has competed in seven events, with a T9 at the Cognizant Classic his best performance.
The 35-year-old, who is ranked 125 in the world, improved markedly at the Masters this year, finishing T12 compared to 2025 when he missed the cut.
Lowry was in contention for the second year running at Augusta going into the final round, but the wheels came off once again as he shot 80 to finish 11 strokes behind McIlroy.
Having celebrated the Ulsterman's triumph in 2025, he chose to stay away on this occasion after feeling too dejected following his Sunday collapse at the Masters.
"Obviously, you know the stories from last year. I called over to his house with a case of wine and all that," Lowry said.
"I texted him on Sunday night, and I said, 'Honestly, I'm so happy for you, but I don't have it in me tonight to go over and celebrate'. I was feeling a bit down and dejected a little bit, so I just stayed at home with my crew."
