Espanyol will lock horns with Atletico Madrid in the
2019/20 Spanish La Liga match at the RCDE Stadium on March 1.

Diego Simeone, the Atletico manager, feels that his side is slowly improving ahead of their clash with Espanyol.
“We’ve had up and downs this season. We’ve been playing better ever since our win against Granada," Simeone said.

The last league meeting between Espanyol and Atletico was on the 10th of November 2019.
Atletico secured a 3-1 win over Espanyol at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano.
