AS Roma host Genoa CFC at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday, 17 October, looking to preserve their unbeaten home start to the campaign and reclaim top spot in Serie A.
Head-to-Head
The most recent league meeting between the two sides was in March 2026, when Genoa claimed a 2-1 home victory at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium.
In Serie A, the two teams have met 37 times in their modern head-to-head record: Roma have won 25, Genoa have won seven, and five matches ended in draws.
Roma have won three of their last five matches against Genoa across all competitions (three wins, one draw, one loss).

AS Roma build around Paulo Dybala, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Manu Koné, and Evan Ndicka, though Gian Piero Gasperini is without the suspended Donyell Malen and the injured trio Bryan Cristante, Mile Svilar, and Devyne Rensch.
Meanwhile, Genoa deploy Milutin Osmajić, Junior Messias, Mikael Egill Ellertsson, and Morten Frendrup, with Daniele De Rossi missing injured trio Lorenzo Venturino, Lorenzo Colombo, and Franz Meichtry.
Quotes
"We finally secured our first three points at home in front of our fans," Roma manager Daniele De Rossi said after his side's recent win over ACF Fiorentina.
"The team showed great character and had no missteps in their approach from the opening whistle. Milutin Osmajić gave us a massive performance with a goal and an assist. He was fundamental for us today, and we need to build on this momentum."
