Yokohama, Japan
October 8-11, 2026
Purse: $8 000 000
Amid a stuttering 2026 season, the experienced Justin Thomas will be among the top contenders for the Baycurrent Classic title at the Yokohama Country Club this week.
As a former World Number one, Thomas currently occupy 27th on the World Rankings as he competed in his 18th tournament this year.
Thomas recently took to the BMW Championship where he finished tied for 16th at the Bellerive Golf Course in August while Wyndham Clark walked away with the crown.
The 16-time PGA Tour winner commenced his campaign with a disappointing showing, missing the cut at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at the Bay Hill Club in March.
Thomas battled to find his stride thereafter, overseeing a string of inconsistent performances, most notably a T77 finish at the RBC Heritage and a T65 finish at the 154th Open earlier this year.
The American’s best showing this year came at the PGA Championship, where he finished fourth at the Aronimink Golf Club in May; Aaron Rai claimed first place.
While Thomas recorded two Top 10 finishes this year, the 33-year-old last tasted success at the 2025 RBC Heritage, winning first prize at the Harbour Town Golf Links.

2025: Xander Shcauffele
