2025 Omega European Masters
DP World Tour
Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club
Crans-Montana, Switzerland
28-31 August 2025
Matt Wallace will be looking to become only the seventh player to defend his title at the
Omega European Masters from 28-31 August 28.
The Englishman claimed his fifth DP World Tour career win when he carded an 11-under 269 to beat Alfredo Garcia-Heredia in a playoff last year.
Wallace has competed in seven tournaments this year, although he's yet to finish in the top 10, with his best performance (T17) coming at the US PGA Championship in May.
The 35-year-old, who is 94th in the Race to Dubai Rankings, had hoped to put himself in contention for the European Ryder Cup team, but it all went wrong for him at the Danish Golf Championship earlier this month.
He finished way down in 64th after a disastrous final round of 81 and his Ryder Cup hopes faded after another disappointing final round of 77 at the British Masters.
"Dark day for me today but I showed myself that I never quit. A cracked driver at the start of the week and struggled from then but I own my score this week. Wasn't good enough," Wallace wrote on his Instagram account.
