BMW Championship, having won the second-most titles after Tiger Woods' record (five trophies).
What to know about Cantlay
The American star turned professional in June 2012 after being the world number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking and he holds the record for most consecutive weeks at number one, 54.
Cantlay has won nine professional tournaments to date, as well as the 2021 FedEx Cup and his best performance in a golf major is a third-place finish at the 2024 US Open and 2019 PGA Championship.

The 33-year-old was in action at the most recent tournament on the 2025 PGA Tour schedule, the FedEx St. Jude Championship, where he finished ninth.
Cantlay is currently placed 22nd on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best overall ranking is third place.

The former UCLA student is the joint-second most successful golfer in the history of the BMW Championship, having won this event twice - in 2021 and 2022.
Securing a top 10 finish at the FedEx St. Jude Championship has surely boosted Cantlay's confidence ahead of the BMW Championship, where he has played some of his best golf.
