Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa will renew their West Midlands derby in the
Premier League when they meet at Molineux Stadium on Sunday 10 November 2019, kick-off at 16:00 CAT. The clash is one of 10 in the 12
th round of England’s top flight this coming weekend.
Wolves fought back from a goal down to hold Arsenal 1-1 in London this past weekend, with Raul Jimenez scoring late in the game to cancel out Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s opener.
"I'm happy because we had so many, but really, really unhappy because I think we should be more clinical when we have so many chances,” said manager Nuno Espirito Santo. He added, "There is always space to improve. Perfection doesn't exist. But we keep chasing it."
Aston Villa, meanwhile, came so close to becoming the first team to defeat leaders Liverpool this season: the Birmingham side led 1-0 until the dying minutes, before the Reds scored two late goals to condemn them to 2-1 defeat.

"It certainly is [a bitter pill to swallow],” Smith said of the loss, as he builds toward this clash against Wolves
. "I just said to the lads that I am proud of them, I thought they were outstanding, especially in the first against a top team in Europe.”
In head-to-head stats, Wolverhampton and Villa have met in 83 matches. The Birmingham side has claimed 36 wins compared to 29 for Wolves, while 18 games have been drawn.
This will be the teams’ first Premier League meeting since 2011/12. They last clashed in league competitions in the 2017/18 Championship, with Wolves winning 2-0 at Molineux Stadium, while the return game at Villa Park went the way of the hosts in a 4-1 score line.
