AS Roma will go head to head with US Sassuolo in an
Italian Serie A match at the Stadio Olimpico on September 12.
The Yellow and Reds thumped Salernitana 4-0 away in their previous league match which was played on August 29.
The win extended Roma's unbeaten run to four matches in this competition having registered three wins and one draw.

The Yellow and Reds are also unbeaten in their last five matches at home in Serie A having recorded one draw and four wins.
“There was no way we weren’t going to win tonight," Jose Mourinho, the Roma manager, said after the team's win over Salernitana.
"I was calm from the first minute. The team played really, really well. I told them that, against Fiorentina, even when we were 1-0 up and a man up,
"I was worried about the game – whereas tonight when it was 0-0 and 11 against 11 I was completely calm. The team dominated every moment of the match."

Meanwhile, Sassuolo were held to a 0-0 draw by Sampdoria at home in their previous league match which was played on August 29.
As a result, the Black and Greens are undefeated in their last four matches in this competition having registered three successive wins and one draw.
Sassuolo are also undefeated in their last five matches on the road in Serie A having recorded five consecutive victories.
The last meeting between Roma and Sassuolo in a league game was on 3 April 2021.
The two teams played to a 2-2 draw in a match that was played at the Stadio Olimpico.
