The Red Devils have lost three of their last four league matches including a 2-0 defeat at home to Manchester City before the international break.

"We need to be on the front foot. I can't look at myself and say this is the way I want Man Unitedto play," said Solskjaer following his team's loss to the defending champions.

"I have good quiet communication all the time with the club.

"I want the best for Manchester United. As long as I'm here, I want to do what I can do to improve this."

United midfielder Bruno Fernandes called on his teammates to 'look in the mirror' following yet another disappointing result, which has left them nine points adrift of Premier League leaders Chelsea.

"Obviously everyone is frustrated about the result, about the performance too," Fernandes told MUTV.

"We know we can do much better and we know this is not enough for a player who is representing this big club. We have to look in the mirror."

Newly-promoted Watford have lost four of their last five matches following a 1-0 loss away to Arsenal earlier this month. Defeat left the Hornets two points above the relegation zone heading into this weekend's tie.

The two teams shared the spoils over two matches in the 2019/20 Premier League season. Watford won 2-0 at Vicarage Road before a 3-0 loss at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture.
