Brooks Koepka will be looking to become the first player since Tiger Woods to win the PGA Championship four times.
The former world No. 1 won the second major of his career in 2018 when he beat Tiger Woods by two strokes to deny his compatriot a record fifth PGA Championship title.
Koepka repeated the feat in 2019 and he joined a very elite list with his third victory in 2023, although Woods and Jack Nicklaus are the only players with four wins in the stroke play era.
The 36-year-old returned to the PGA Tour this season after three and a half years on the LIV Golf circuit, and he's finished inside the top 20 on five occasions.
His best showing came at the Cognizant Classic (T9), while he finished T11 at the Myrtle Beach Classic most recently.
Koepka revealed that he's rediscovered his love for the game after a shooting 59 in the third round at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in South Carolina.
"That's the most excited I've been playing golf in a long, long time. I can tell you that much," he said. "I would say back until '23, the PGA. That's the most - it's been a long time since I've had fun playing golf.
"I was very frustrated last year. Just wasn't in a good place, but I think a lot of times when you - it's like anybody, right? If they're happy off the golf course, they're going to play well on the golf course.
"I think that's a huge, huge piece of it, and I've found that. Re-found my happiness, my love for the game. All the pieces are connected. It's just now I've got to go out and go play."
