2026 Charles Schwab Challenge
PGA Tour
Colonial Country Club
Fort Worth, Texas
28-31 May 2026
World no. 13 Ludvig Aberg will be looking to use what he learned at the PGA Championship for the Charles Schwab Challenge.
The Swede had a front row seat to Aaron Rai's first major success after being paired with the champion in the final round at Aronimink.
Aberg would finish four strokes behind Rai in T4 and it surely won't be long before he too is a major winner, having been runner-up at the Masters Tournament in 2024.
The 26-year-old has enjoyed an impressive year to date, achieving six top 10s and finishing outside the top 20 just three times out of the 10 events he's competed in on the PGA Tour.
Aberg's best performance came at the Arnold Palmer Invitational when he carded a 12-under 276 to finish three strokes behind winner Akshay Bhatia in T3.
The European Ryder Cup team member admitted he didn't mind losing to Rai earlier this month after thoroughly enjoying the experience of playing alongside the Englishman.
"He's just so polite. He's got a putt to win his first major and he still said 'good putt' to me?" Aberg said.
"He's taking time to look me in the eye and say well done? That stands out. That's really impressive. If there's one guy I'd love to lose to, it's probably him.
"Aaron is a super, super-nice guy and I couldn't be happier for him."
