Viktor Hovland will be hoping to make history by becoming the first Norwegian to win the
2023 Charles Schwab Challenge title.
What to know about Hovland
The 25-year-old star is among the best golfers in the world at the moment as he is placed sixth on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR).
Hovland has won three seven professional tournaments including three PGA Tour events namely, Puerto Rico Open, Mayakoba Golf Classic and World Wide Technology Championship.

The Oklahoma-based golfer came very close to winning his maiden golf major at the recent 2023 PGA Championship.
Hovland finished joint second along with world number one golfer Scottie Scheffler as Brooks Koepka won the tournament by two strokes.

Hovland and Scheffler are coming into the Charles Schwab Challenge as the two highest-ranked golfers in the world at the PGA Tour event.
Having gone toe-to-toe with Scheffler at the PGA Championship, the Oslo-born star will be confident of winning the tournament and improving his ranking on the OWGR.
