Novak Djokovic will be eager to successfully defend his Wimbledon title at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

The Serbian superstar is currently ranked as world No. 1 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and he has been No. 1 for a record total of 326 weeks.

Djokovic has won 19 Grand Slam men's singles titles and 84 ATP singles titles overall, including a record nine Australian Open titles and two French Open trophies.

The Belgrade-born player has also won three US Open trophies, five Wimbledon titles and a joint record 36 Masters events (shared with Rafael Nadal).

Djokovic won the last Wimbledon title in 2019 after defeating Roger Federer in four hours and 58 minutes and it was the longest singles final in Wimbledon history.

The 34-year-old defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the recent French Open final in five sets despite losing the first two sets.

Djokovic became only the third man to win all four Grand Slam singles tournaments at least twice after Roy Emerson and Rod Laver.

The Monte Carlo-based player is now targeting a record-equalling 20th major and sixth Wimbledon title.

"Everything is possible," Djokovic said after winning the French Open earlier this month when asked if the Golden Slam of all four majors and Olympic Games gold was a realistic target.

"I've achieved some things that a lot of people thought it would be not possible for me to achieve. I don't have an issue to say that I'm going for the title in Wimbledon.

" I've had a great success in the past couple of Wimbledon seasons that were played. I won in 2018 and 2019 there. Hopefully I can keep that run going.”
