Kurt Kitayama heads into the 3M Open as the defending champion hoping to make history by securing back-to-back victories at TPC Twin Cities.
What to know about Kitayama
The American star turned professional in 2015 and competed on the European Tour, winning the 2018 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, and the 2019 Oman Open.
Kitayama has secured two PGA Tour victories including the 2025 3M Open and the 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Kitayama posted a solid T40 finish at The Open Championship on 19 July, which remains his last competitive tournament.
The University of Nevada-Las Vegas student is currently ranked around 37th in the Official World Golf Rankings and his best overall ranking is 19th.
