La Liga leaders Barcelona will be wary of the threat posed by Girona when they lock horns in a Catalan derby at Montilivi on Monday, February 16.
The Blaugrana needed a 93rd-minute winner from Ronald Araujo to see off their regional rivals 2-1 in the reverse fixture on October 18 after losing two of their previous four meetings.
Hansi Flick's side maintained their one-point lead over Real Madrid with a 3-0 success against Real Mallorca on February 7 to make it three wins on the spin since suffering a 2-1 defeat to Real Sociedad on January 18.
However, they could find themselves two points behind Los Blancos by the time they make the journey to Girona, with their arch-rivals in action against Sociedad 48 hours earlier.

The Blanquivermells made a strong start to the new year by winning three in a row and they've lost just one of their five games in 2026.
But Michel's side have only picked up one point from their last three matches, with a 1-1 draw against Sevilla on February 8 seeing them drop to 12th in the standings, level on 25 points with Getafe (11th).
Flick was pleased to get a reaction from his players in the second half after admitting their level was nowhere near good enough before the break against the Pirates, while he gave praise to Marc Bernal, who scored his maiden goal for the club.
"I wasn't happy with the first half, with the level we showed. We had to improve in certain situations. The second half is how we want Barca to play," he said.
"We celebrated Bernal's goal a lot. He did very well and also managed to score. Now we have many matches coming up and it's important that all the players are involved."
