Manchester City will square off with Arsenal in an English Premier League match at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

The Citizens succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United away in their previous league game which was played in midweek.
 
The defeat ended City's four-match unbeaten run having recorded wins over Liverpool, Southampton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Huddersfield Town.
 
They are undefeated in their last two home league games since losing to Crystal Palace at the Eithad Stadium last month.
 
City will be looking to return to ways against a rejuvenated Arsenal side.

Meanwhile, Arsenal secured a 2-1 win over Cardiff City at home in their previous league game which was played in midweek. 
 
This was the Gunners' second successive league win having registered wins against Chelsea and Cardiff following a defeat to West Ham United.
 
They are winless in their last five league matches on the road having recorded three defeats and two draws away from home.
 
Arsenal will be keen to snap their winless run on the road when they face off with a wounded Coty side. 

The last league meeting between City and Arsenal was on the 12th of August 2018.
