Standing tall at the top of the Serie A pile, Inter Milan will hope to continue their forward momentum in the league with the trip to Atalanta this coming weekend.
As it stands, Inter lead the way at the top of the log with 33 points to their name after 15 matches played. Inter are currently on a three-match winning streak that includes victories over Pisa, Como and more recently, Genoa.
Their latest 2-1 win over Genoa propelled them to the summit after second-placed AC Milan dropped points in a 2-2 draw against Sassuolo last time out.
Atalanta have likewise hit a positive patch in Serie A and bagged maximum points in their last two matches.
The Bergamo side will go into their next game on the back of a 1-0 win against Genoa as they occupy ninth after 16 matches played.

Speaking after Inter’s loss to Bologna in the semi-finals of the Supercoppa Italiana last week, Cristian Chivu praised his side’s effort and urged the club to continue pushing for silverware.
“This squad has big ambitions and, in a long season with so many matches, we need everyone. Inter are aware that we need to keep on pushing,” Chivu said.
“When we have defeats like this, it hurts, it affects the morale, but we have to get back up. We have to always keep in mind who we are and what we're working towards. That's how we can grow and become truly great.
“These players have shown it time and again over the years, stepping outside their comfort zone. I have an incredible team of champions who aren't afraid to take risks. ”
