Hungarian MotoGP.

The Ducati Lenovo Team rider claimed a podium spot at the Austrian MotoGP on August 17, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Marquez was unstoppable at the Red Bull Ring as he won both the sprint event and main race, which saw him accumulate a whopping 37 points.
MotoGP title ambitions
The man nicknamed the 'Thunder of Cervera' is still sitting at the top of the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 418 points from 13 races.
Marc is 142 points ahead of second-placed Alex Marquez of Ducati and 197 points ahead of third-placed Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati.
Why Marc Marquez could win the 2025 Austrian MotoGP
It seems like the Thunder of Cervera cannot be beaten at the moment as he is in the best form of his life, having won each of the last six races in the 2025 MotoGP.
Marquez, who boasts nine victories in total in the current campaign, is a clear favourite to make it seven successive victories and be crowned Hungarian MotoGP champion for the first time.
What did he say?
"I knew that Marco (Bezzecchi) and Pecco (Francesco Bagnaia) would be my main opponents over the long distance as Alex had to serve a long-lap penalty, from which it’s hard to bounce back," Marquez said after winning the 2025 Austrian MotoGP.
"We had already noticed that, among all Ducati riders, Fermín (Aldeguer) was the one who could manage tyre wear the best, so when I saw his name on the pit board I knew I had to start pushing again, and we finished with a good pace. I’m happy, we’re doing some great work and now Balaton awaits us.”
