Now under the tutelage of the accomplished Luciano Spalletti, Juventus will hope to make it three wins on the spin when they take on Torino in a keenly anticipated derby in
Serie A this coming weekend.
Spalletti commenced his reign with a 2-1 win against Cremonese at Stadio Giovanni Zini last Saturday and took his team to 18 points after 10 matches in sixth position.
While Juventus recorded back-to-back wins recently, Torino could only manage a 2-2 draw with Pisa during matchday 10.
Their recent result came off the back of a 0-0 draw with Bologna and will go into the next match sitting in 12
th place on 13 points.
Speaking after Juve’s win over Cremonese, Spalletti expressed that his immediate task is to build a bond with the players he inherited.
"What's important is establishing relationships with the players, that's what I've always done," said Spalletti.
"Let's hope I manage to do that here seeing as I didn't with the national team."
