The four-time African champions will be brimming with confidence ahead of the 2019 showpiece. They navigated through the qualifying phase with relative ease, ahead of the likes of both Kenya and Ethiopia, and head to Egypt boasting one of the most richly talented teams in the competition. Led by skipper Andre Ayew, 20 of their 23-man squad ply their trade in Europe’s top divisions. 33-year-old Asamoah Gyan (Kayerispor, TUR) has been included in the squad and will be appearing at his 8th AFCON finals. The former Sunderland forward has bagged an astonishing 51 goals in 106 appearances for the national side.
