After slumping to their first defeat in
Serie A last time out, Juventus will attempt to get back to winning ways when they face Atalanta on home soil this Sunday.
Juventus will head into their next league assignment sitting in eighth position with seven points to their name after from their first four matches.
The Old Lady commenced their campaign with back-to-back wins over Frosinone and Parma before taking home a point during a 1-1 draw with AC Milan during matchday three. Juventus then stumbled in their latest outing following an eventful 3-2 defeat against Sassuolo on Sunday.
Not far behind, Atalanta currently occupies 11th on the log, just one point behind their upcoming foes.
While Atalanta noted consecutive wins against Sassuolo and Bologna to start the season, the Bergamo side suffered back-to-back losses against AS Roma and Cagliari in their last set of Serie A games.
Speaking after Juve’s five-goal thriller against Sassuolo, Luciano Spalletti accredited a lack of composure as a reason for their downfall amid a change of tactics.
Spalletti also noted that Juve ‘raised’ their playing despite recording a defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.
"The boys tried to do what I asked. At half-time I wasn't happy with the way we were playing. We had a lot of crosses in the area, but without being decisive. We had shots, but for me it wasn't enough," Spalletti said.
"In the second half they raised the level and that was positive. But you have to have composure and balance, and that's where we had to be better."
