Alex Marquez will be looking to end his winless run and get his 2025 MotoGP world title bid back on track by clinching the Dutch MotoGP trophy.

The Ducati BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider secured a secure podium spot at the Italian MotoGP on June 22, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Marquez started third on the grid and went on to clinch the runner-up spot, while also finishing second in the sprint race, which saw him collect 29 points from the event.
MotoGP title ambitions
The 29-year-old is still placed second in the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 230 points from nine races.
Alex is 40 points behind leader Marc Marquez of Ducati and 70 points ahead of third-placed Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati.

The former Marc VDS Racing Team rider looks like a serious MotoGP world title contender, having won this season's Spanish MotoGP.
Marquez, who won the 2014 Dutch Moto3 race, has to win this weekend's event in order to reduce the gap between him and Marc Marquez.
What did he say?
“Today was the almost-perfect version of myself," Alex Marquez said after the 2025 Italian MotoGP.
"The red bikes were difficult to beat today, and despite that, we half did it. It could have been a good circuit to recover some points from Marc, but he did a better job.
"In any case, we’re heading into a busy time race-wise and it was important to start on the right foot.”
