Anthony Joshua will be eyeing a fight against Tyson Fury if he defeats Kubrat Pulev on December 12.

The British boxer is the reigning WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion and he has been tipped to fight Fury next year.

His fellow countryman, Fury has held the WBC, The Ring magazine and lineal titles since defeating Deontay Wilder in February 2020.

A clash between Joshua and Fury is the fight that everyone wants in order to unify the heavyweight division in 2021.

However, this fight is most likely to take place if Joshua and Fury get past Pulev and Deontay Wilder, respectively.

Fury won the WBC title after defeating American star Deontay Wilder in a rematch in February 2020.

Wilder activated the rematch clause after his loss to Fury in the rematch, and a trilogy fight was tentatively set for July 2020.

This was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, potentially until late 2020 or early 2021.

Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn has already announced that Fury and Joshua had agreed a two-fight deal, provided Fury defeats Wilder and his client defeats Pulev.

"There is a genuine possibility, for sure," Joshua told Sky Sports about fighting Fury for the undisputed championship.

"I don't get involved in the show. When it's serious, I will be ready to rock and roll. I'm training hard and ready to defend my titles, all in the name of the undisputed championship.

"I'm fighting my mandatory so I don't have to give up my titles so I can fight for the undisputed championship," he continued.

"If I didn't want to fight for the undisputed championship, I would have vacated my IBF and taken an easier fight.

"People want to see the undisputed championship so I have to fight tough guys like Pulev along the way to get myself in position."
