Zambia will be away to Zimbabwe in the
2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier Group H match on March 29.
Chipolopolo fought back to hold Morocco to a 3-3 draw at home in their most recent match which was a Group H game on March 25.
The stalemate extended Zambia's winless run to four matches across all competitions having recorded three draws and one defeat.
Chipolopolo are placed fourth on the group standings - four points behind second-placed Zimbabwe, who defeated Botswana 1-0 in a Group H game on March 25.
As a result, Zambia's hopes of qualifying for the 2022 AFCON finals came to an end and they will now be seeking revenge when they face Zimbabwe.
Chipolopolo succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Zimbabwe in the 2022 AFCON qualifier Group H match at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka in November 2019.
Zambia are also winless in their last three away matches having recorded two defeats and one draw.
Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic, the Zambia head coach, lauded Patson Daka as one of the best finishers in the world with the Zambian striker having netted twice against Algeria.
“Even before coming, I knew Patson Daka, Having in mind that Fred Kanoute is my friend. This is a player who was a punching bag during his time at Power Dynamos," Micho said.
"He has stood firm and believed that this is what God has designated for him and to use in the best possible way.
"He has worked hard to become by my view among the top five finishers in the world. He still has a lot of room to improve ahead," he added.
"Where he is now he needs to stretch beyond, He needs to find the best version of himself. He is always out of his comfort zone.”
